Tamiya Porsche 911 Turbo '88
First print..printed with elegoo Mars 3pro
The bonnet has also been adapted, although it will require a little putty job to make it fit better..
I fill the gap with plasticard 0.25mm
#!@!@#!!@##@!
today's updates..I cut the bumper...but in order to adapt the new bumper I must first cut the rear wheel arches as well..which will also be the last cutting process..
Here is a first adaptation..the final form will be this..
first I glued a piece of 0.25 plasticard, shaped and then with the putty I leveled ..
Now it's a little Better
All adapted
I started gluing
Testing Set up..first a few small corrections and finally... Painting!
since I want to hurt myself, I decided to buy and print the whole engine kit, turbo kit and openable engine hood too...so now a long job will start, between creating supports and printing it will take a few weeks. aside from the fact that I will have to retrofit the engine compartment that I had previously optimized
All the pieces that complete the engine-turbo kit..1 day of work to put the supports..
All printed
Pre test..
trying to install the rear view mirrors I realized that they had a really horrendous mounting system, so I decided to fill the hole completely and then print some aftermarket mirrors (which I still have to choose)
First coat of clearcoat..next step some decals and finally last hand of clearcoat
I decided to make 2 stripes, One of 2mm and one of 1 mm and Paint It dark Copper..
The engine..the final result will be more or less like this..now I have to find a way to adapt it to the chassis
Here are the latest updates.. the end is very close now
creating the decal
Engine cowl complete!
do these rearview mirrors fit?
sorry for the break but I had family problems..now before leaving for the holidays I finally managed to complete the project..thanks to all for the comments! see you at the next project!

How is the fit of the 3D parts? They generally don't look too bad.
What is your opinion?

then, the images don't make the idea.. obviously now they are held together by adhesive tape.. certainly there is work to be done to adapt them to the best.. I'll have the right idea only during the gluing phase, but at the end moment it seems to me that a clean job can come .. I bought much worse transkits 😃😃

I really like the copper stripes but suggest that you continue them at the roof and rear.

Hi Michael..yes I had considered it but the car will have the important typical fascia on the front windscreen with the writing RWB..continue the stripes above and "cross" the fascia I didn't like...we'll see at the end if you were right! thanks for your advice!
