Very nice theme. Not so nice kit.

It's my second attempt to build this one.
The kit as some minor errors that, I think, we can live with. The greatest is the lenght of the tracks that are shorter, at least in 3/4 links.
Whethering this ones, we have to take in mind that the crews of Italian Army didn't let the cars with deep damage, because theu were severly punhished. So only a very light whethering is enought.

This building took me to kits. The first one and folloing the order of the instrution sheet when putting in place the all the the rolling system they become in the right angle. So, in the second first I glued parts 47/48 firts to the hull to achieve the right angle and added the remainimg parts after the glue was cured. Note that I use mainly cyano.

Do not fogget to glue parts 26 on the top of part 34. They are not mensioned anywhere in the instrutions but they appear in the few pictures available.

The building is now being whashed. After some of the whash would be removed with white spirit.

Nice little tank.

I found this problems:

1. The instrutions sheet is a little bit vague.
2. Some of the main parts of the hull don't fit well and need some putty.
3. the rolling sets do not fit in the right angle.
4. The tracks are to short - 2/3 links.

I'm working on the same kit!! The tracks do not glue well and yes, too short. I have mine painted black for a primer for right now, just trying to figure out the color scheme.

Yeah, I built this 20 years ago, not very impressed. The tracks are very poor, and I'd recommend casting replacements. The kit also seems undersized compared to other Ft-17 based tanks, but I could be wrong.

It's a Fiat, they are always smaller than the rest, look at their latest cars, too small for me
