Thank you, Robert! Apart from the floats and the small fiddly windows, it went together quite well.

Would anybody happen to have any photos of the interior of a Swedish Air Force („Flygvapnet“) Boeing-Vertol Hkp 4? Specifically as used by the air force, not the navy version….

I've always wanted this since I took up modeling again a couple, but until a couple of days ago it effectively wasn't available anywhere in Europe. Managed to get one from Super Hobby in Poland, they were sold out a couple of days later. Looks a bit daunting in places, particularly the engine which seems to consist of an inordinate amount of parts. I can't see any differences between this kit and the original Kitty Hawk offering; the decals are the same, for example.

Nice, good-value-for-money re-issue of the ICM kit, with the following minor issues:
1) The rudder control horns are positioned too high up on the rudder, they need to be located one rudder rib distance further down
2) Decals for HB-UBC are provided in the kit, this has a tail wheel (not in the kit) and not a tail skid.
3) The rudder control cables connect to a sliding bracket (not in the kit) extending out of the fuselage, and do not come out of the fuselage.
4) Flying wires are thicker than the control surface cables, not the same thickness as suggested in the instructions.
5) The L-shaped part on the fuselage lower surface is an idler lever for the aileron controls, but the rest of that arrangement is missing.
On a positive note, the blind flying hood is also included in the kit (not used on the two civil aircraft for which decals are provided), as is an upper rear fuselage part without the anti-spin strakes, enabling an (earlier) DH.82 to be built as well, and not only a DH.82A.
Looking forward to getting started with it!

I have bought this for my Revell re-pop of the 1/32 ICM Tiger Moth. It‘s very nice, but I do notice the following issues:
1) The lap belts are attached to the lower-most fuselage longerons, not halfway up the fuselage.
2) There are three throttle levers, but only two are shown in the instructions. The third one could be used as a mixture lever, but then only in the rear cockpit.
3) The harness locking pins and spring clips are too large and unrealistically two-dimensioal. Moreover, they are attached by strings to the shoulder belts, not the lap belts.
4) The shoulder belts are not directly attached to the panel behind the seats, but to a steel wire running in the indentation in each panel.
5) The upper edge of the required cut-out in each instrument panel for the compass should be curved, not straight.
It would be worthwhile checking some of the many walkarounds in the Internet, before using this set
