Oblt. Walter Schneider, Staffelkaptin of 6./JG26 sitting in his Bf 109E 'Brown 1', was taken at Marquise, probably on 6 September after he claimed the destruction of two 72Sqn Spitfires. Schneider led the 6./JG26 up until his death on 22 December 1941 when, becoming disorientated in fog, he and four of his pilots flew into a hill.

Michael HickeyThis one was started over 20 years ago, I think it's time I got her finished, not much needs to be done, but I do need to find a spare center piece canopy for her.
