Ukrainian S**tshow

This is my first project after an 8 year long scale modelling break. It has a number of mistakes and inconsistencies, but its main purpose was to get back to the flow of work.
I can admit it is historically inaccurate, with to much chipping and all around way to much weathering. The trees are also very iffy, but I am kinda proud of them, as I am with the entire model as I never expected I would be able to create something of this magnitude. The model itself was from Italeri and it was not a top end plastic for sure. There was a lot of sanding and putty fixing but none of that was as disappointing as the tracks which, after they have been mounted on the tank, have started breaking at forward and aft positions forcing me to make it a used, old ragged tank left in combat and stripped for some parts. Also a big challenge was the learning curve of working with PE parts that I haven't encountered in my past and it will take even more practice to learn how to properly handle those extras.
Overall I can say I am very happy and proud of the entire project and the techniques I have mastered and I will be able to apply in further projects.
In the end I would just like to refer the symbolic meaning of the entire diorama. There is a field toilet included with newspaper leafs of Stalin and the urge for resistance on the floor. This is to represent the struggle of the Ukrainian people in the clash of destructive forces concentrated around them. This, as well as the title of the project itself is not intended to insult or belittle the Ukrainian nation or people (or any nation and people for that matter) but on the contrary picture their demise and ill fortune in the catastrophic years and moments of WWII.
