SU-85 Field Maintenance, September 1943
Downtime on the steppes outside of Karkhov

A well used but not abused SU-85 from MiniArt will play center stage. Interior will be illuminated by pico led's and wired to a 3V momentary-on push-button in the base. Rear engine deck will be unbolted and swung down. Air intake grill assembly will be removed and resting on ground. Engine hatch will be open. "Tamiya/Italeri German Field Maintenance" work bench, tools, and equipment will be used. Transmission or engine parts may be removed from vehicle and hanging from A-frame crane. Ammunition from SU-85 kit will be strewn about to represent reloading as well. "MiniArt Soviet Tank Crew at Work" will be used to show barrel cleaning, engine maintenance and commmander's oversight. SU-85 will be in field representing steppe topography. On a nearby road, "MiniArt Soviet Infantry" will be marching and "Master Box German Captives, 1944" will be being escorted along.
