Honest opinion from Tamiya lover; they need to change the way they select models subjects .. non of the current hot topics were covered by Tamiya, the thing that allowed Trumpeter, Takom, and MiniArt to penetrate the market (good on them).

Agree partially with you. Tamiya's new ones are mainly replacements for old tools. As we know Tamiya there latest releases were all superb in detail & molding and I believe this one will be as well. And - they are nit following Trumpeter, Meng, Takom, Miniart, etc. but release some models no one else offers in similar quality. And btw, found this one in the hot topics list!
